Description:
Beau is a handsome boy seeking a new home with someone who is looking for a trail riding casual best friend.
He came to us after finishing racing as a 4 year old and has played low level polo for 4/5 seasons, he has also participated in the Quindanning Picnic races in the gymkhana events and the races.
Beau is a sensible ride, he is comfortable around all kinds of traffic (buses, trucks, cars, motorbikes, cyclists) and other animals (cows, sheep, dogs, kangaroos), he can lead other horses and be led off others.
Beau enjoys trail rides, pine rides and estuary rides, he has 3 beautiful paces and is soft and responsive to all aids. He is a great all rounder and has been exposed to more than most, he does require a confident and capable rider and will only go to the best of homes.
Unfortunately Beau has physical limitations which means he is best suited to light riding/part time work, he is a good doer and can be brought back into work easily.
Beau has previously had ulcers, they have been treated and he is on a preventative dosage currently. He is sound however he has poor hocks, he has been seen by a vet and his report is available to prospective buyers, this is why he is only suited to light riding/companionship, and this is reflective of his price.
