Upward trajectory to success for All West

Since joining forces with Charlotte Finister in 2025, All West has continued his upward trajectory to jumping success! With the foundations lain by Sophie Stott, Skip has found jumping to be where his talents truly lie.

We reached out to Charlotte to find out a little more about her partnership with Skip and their highlights from 2026, along with how their trip to the Australian Interschool National Championships turned out.

Charlotte’s highlights from this year included:

placing second in the 1.05m class at Yalambi Easter Classic

competing in her first 1.10m class at Perth Show Jumping League

competing as part of the OTTWA team at Perth Show Jumping League

Highest placed junior in the Bunbury Turf Club Six Bar competition

All made possible because of All West

Charlotte’s ultimate goal with Skip is to compete in the Prestige Youth Cup at Yalambi, along with hopes to compete in the 1.15m classes in the new year.

Back in September, Charlotte and Skip ventured across the country to represent Western Australia at the Australian Interschool National Championships. Skip travelled well, having experienced the journey before when competed with Sophie.

In the lead up to the event, Skip and Charlotte tested out the eastern state tracks by competing in the Victorian Indoor State Championships in the OTT 1.05m class where they placed second.

Heading into the Championship weekend, All West exceed expectations with a fifth placing the 1.10m class on day one. While day two wasn’t as fruitful as day one, Skip and Charlotte backed up their results with second in the 1m class and sixth in the 1.10m class on day three.

“We took four days to drive over and six days to drive home; he was perfect the whole way there and back. We exceeded all expectations, overcame challenges and achieved many goals.” – Charlotte

Well done to Skip and Charlotte for their super results and for flying the OTT flag by representing what a retired racehorse can achieve in their life after racing. Retired from racing in 2016, a decade later at seventeen All West continues to succeed no matter what sport he competes in.

Thank you to Charlotte for sharing a little insight into her 2026 season with All West. Good luck for Yalambi.
