OTTWA Twilight Metro Clinic Cancelled

Equestrian Western Australia (EWA) and Off the Track WA (OTTWA) have made the decision to cancel the first OTTWA metropolitan educational clinic of 2021.

The multi-disciplinary clinic, originally planned for 6 and 7 February, was rescheduled to 14 February. However, given the uncertainty around the COVID-19 restrictions and the impacts of the Wooroloo bushfire, the decision has been made to cancel the clinic.

A replacement clinic will be considered later in the year and EWA will be in contact with the OTTWA community should this occur.

Meanwhile, any members of the OTTWA and wider equestrian community who wish to assist in the bushfire relief can do so through the following channels:

  1. Blaze Aid (https://blazeaid.com.au/)

Blaze Aid helps bushfire impacted communities rebuild after natural disasters. A Wooroloo project is currently being established and volunteers are being sought to assist in building fences and essential infrastructure.

  1. EWA Equine Bushfire Relief Fund (https://asf.org.au/projects/equestrian-wa/ewa-bushfire-relief-fund/)

A fund has been established to assist any member of the equestrian community (including the racing community) who has been directly impacted by the Wooroloo bushfires. Either cash or new product donations are gratefully accepted. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation and look forward to delivering future educational opportunities later in the year.
