OTTWA Interstate Competitor Sponsorship | Isabella and Flanno Set for Melbourne

Finalizing the expanding group of West Australian riders competing at Melbourne International 3DE on retired racehorses is Isabella Day and off the track gelding, Flanno. Competed as BML Blackjack, Flanno and Isabella will be competing in the Off the Track CCI2*-L.

Eldest of the retired racehorses at eighteen years old, Flanno retired from racing in 2011 after a career of 31 starts. Trained predominately by Ted Martinovich and Don Whitfield, Flanno accumulated two seconds and two thirds across his career for $4,130. Purchased by Isabella in 2021, ‘Savi’ has accumulated many achievements such as a win in the South West Horse Trials CCN1.5 in 2024, as well as third at Brigadoon CCN 2* in 2023.

Flanno and Isabella join five other retired racehorses travelling to Melbourne representing Off the Track WA and off the track racehorses from WA. We are thrilled to support these six horses and their riders.
