The 2026 State Dressage Championships
Hosted by Dressage Western Australia, Off the Track WA proudly sponsored four Championships exclusive to retired racehorses at the 2026 Shelford Quality Homes State Dressage Championships.
With sponsorship offered to the OTT Prelim, OTT Novice, OTT Elementary and OTT Medium Classic classes, we were thrilled to extend our support to horses and riders competing at this event on a Thoroughbred or Standardbred.
Results from this event were pleasing with retired racehorses claiming each championship.

The average percentage in the Preliminary OTT classes was 65.64%, with Seattle Sound earning an average percentage of 71.17%
The average percentage in the Novice OTT classes was 59.62%
The average percentage in the Elementary OTT classes was 59.96%, with Tabannan earning an average percentage of 61.15%
The average percentage in the Medium OTT classes was 61.82%
Congratulations to these riders on their results. We were thrilled to support retired racehorses competing in the dressage discipline.
Para-Dressage
We were proud and honored to provide sponsorship for horses competing in the para-dressage discipline, with two retired racehorses competing.
Last years winner, Standardbred Chiaroscuro and Claire Mcnaughton returned to compete in the Prepartory Grade II class and Preliminary Grade II class. Thoroughbred gelding, Red Dar Jon and Dale Johnston competed in the Grade III Novice classes.
These two horses are wonderful examples of the trainability and nature of retired racehorses. Congratulations to Claire and Dale on their results!
