Off the Track WA have proudly agreed to sponsor 91 events between January to July 2025, with each of these competitions providing opportunities for retired racehorses.

Why do we sponsor events?
Through the provision of rosettes and sashes, merchandise and rugs, prize money and sponsorship funds, along with OTT exclusive classes and travel rebates, these sponsorships are encouraging the participation and inclusion of retired racehorses in the equestrian community.
Sponsorship of events offers owners of retired racehorses’ unique opportunities, further promoting ownership of a retired racehorse and supporting horses as they transition into an off the track career. Providing an even-playing field for horses to compete against their peers, each coming from similar backgrounds, allows for a more understanding environment for all involved.
These sponsorships also allow us to support regional horses who would otherwise miss out on opportunities due to their location and access to events. The introduction of our travel rebate, providing a 30% reimbursement on entries costs for OTT horses who travel 150km to compete, has also helped improve numbers at events.
At the heart of everything is our dedication to retired racehorses. Each year we follow along with the journey of Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds in competition homes and are thrilled to see horses succeeding and striving for their best. We’ve received 53 emails of thank you from riders this year, which only further fuels us to continue to support these beloved horses in their lives after racing.
