Event Wrap-Up
With Adelaide Equestrian Festival concluded, Off the Track WA would like to congratulate OTTWA Sponsored Competitor, Riley Lyall and Out of Line (GI War Machine) for representing the OTTWA brand interstate. Riley competed on his team of two, with thoroughbred gelding, Out of Line, representing off the track horses.
Out of Line found the main arena to be rather overwhelming on Thursday, giving Riley a tough ride to finesse in dressage. Luckily, Riley is a professional and kept his cool to produce a test under trying conditions. Following this, Out of Line rested on the Friday before putting on his brave pants to tackle the cross-country on Saturday. Arnie thrives out on cross country, producing a clear round with some time penalties to push the pair up the standings. Unfortunately, show jumping resulted in a few more acquired points, ending on a 16th placing. We are proud of Riley and Arnie for battling through a tough competition and displaying the utmost professionalism throughout.
