Lovely Lascia Star shines on the National Stage
Lascia Star, proudly sponsored by Off the Track WA, has concluded her successful eastern states campaign with a fourth placing in the Small Show Hack class at the Show Horse Council of Australasia Grand National Saddle Horse and Rider Championships. Competing against the finest show horses in the country, Stella has consistently held her ground and has made her mark not only in Western Australia, but Australia as a whole.
Owner, Fiona Whife, shared her pride:
“Very proud to be here and to achieve this with my lovely off the track thoroughbred. I have always had a dream of having her ridden by the judge, and gosh, what a ride she gave him.”
During this eastern states campaign, Stella also competed at Canberra Royal, placing in all of her classes and further highlighting her quality and versatility.
Off the Track WA were thrilled to extend support to Fiona and Stella, who is a shining example of what horses can achieve regardless of their racing career.
Lascia Star raced in a total of five start with trainer, Jarrad Humphries, but ultimately was not made for racing. Fortunately, Stella is a stunning example of the Thoroughbred breed and has found her calling in the show ring.
Congratulations to all connections of this wonderful mare on her successes. It takes a village to prepare a horse to compete on the National stage, and it is no easy feat to place amongst the caliber of horses presented.
