Since then, Joe and Anthonia have had an exceptional year in 2026 with many accolades. They recently won Champion OTT Horse at State Dressage Championships in the medium, along with wins in both medium classes and the medium Freestyle class.

“This is the pinnacle of a big season for us, with a showjumping win at Valley Jump Club, placing at Perth Showjumping League, as well as winning the Brookleigh Medium Dressage Championship in open competition.”

November marks Joe’s 20th birthday, though you’d never guess it if you watched him competing in both dressage and show jumping.

“Joe will turn 20 years old in November and I am so proud of him continuing to improve and succeed in both disciplines, post his racing career.”

Sponsorship of events is important to highlight what is possible for horses such as Joe in their careers after racing. Joe is just one of many retired racehorses who have lived long and successful careers after racing in equestrian disciplines.
Congratulations to Anthonia for her results with Joe, and we wish him a happy birthday for November!
