DCH Legal Murray Eventing Inc CCI-S 2026

Murray Eventing CCI took over the weekend with retired racehorses excelling across all heights. With three exclusive off-the-track classes and Best Performed awards in the FEI classes, Off the Track WA were thrilled to see such positive results for our retired racehorse competitors.

OTT CLASS RESULTS

The 95cm OTT class saw 16 starters, including three eliminations and one retiree. Of the twelve competitors who completed, Mikayla Gliddon and her gelding, Moor Spirit claimed the win. With an impressive dressage score of 26.6 penalties (73%) and double clear show jumping and cross country, Moor Spirit topped the class against his fellow retired racehorses.

Remaining placegetters included Bernice in second, Platoon in third, Desert Gold in fourth, De Lovely Lad in fifth and Shippity Ship in sixth. Many of the competitors who placed in the top six in this class are previous winners from other events.

The 80cm OTT class had a huge starting list with 29 starters, three eliminations and two withdrawals. Soaring Lad and Georgia Homewood claimed the win with double clear rounds in jumping and a solid dressage.

Remaining placegetters include Silver Flyer in second, Our Boy Chester in third, Drama Free in fourth, Marble Gold in fifth and Premio Momento in sixth. The top five competitors all finished with clear show jumping rounds and minimal (if any) time faults in cross country.

The 65cm OTT class saw Comfort Me come out on top of 32 starters. This Playing God gelding is no stranger to the winners’ circle, having accumulated over 1.7 million dollars in race earnings and eight race wins. This was his second eventing start.

“There are not many horses that can run in the caliber of races that Ratty has. This horse always gives 110% and never have I met such a quick learning horse that is not only talented in his race career but has taken to jumping like he’s done it his entire life and with such great talent shown so far! I’m so proud of you and feel privileged to be the one to have you in life after racing. What a win and hopefully more to come.” Kariss Whitfield, owner of Comfort Me

Remaining placegetters included Ocean Avenue in second, Bernice in third, Moet De Vega in fourth, Mightiness in fifth and Shame N Scandal in sixth.
