The Capel Horse & Pony Club host their annual CCI event each year in March. The event is one of the most prestigious in Western Australia, attracting high level competitors including Olympic, National and International riders. Over one thousand competitors, helpers and spectators visit the grounds over the weekend. The event includes Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country components which is very exciting to watch. This is a well regarded and well attended equestrian event in the annual equestrian eventing calendar. The event always marks the start of the competitive eventing season in Western Australia and is attended by hundreds of participants, supporters and members of the public from across the state. In 2025 the event will be held from 15-16 March. Based on last year’s event, we estimate more than 275 horse and rider combinations, in addition to officials, judges, visitors, helpers and volunteers. More than 1000 people visited the event last year, with similar or increased estimates for the 2025 event.
