Description:
Sammy is an off-the-track (OTT) gelding with a vibrant personality. His last official race took place in January 2024. Since then, he has been enjoying a well-deserved break and is now ready to return to work.
Environment:
Sammy thrives in environments with softer ground or grassed paddocks. His current living situation presents some challenges for his hooves due to the rocky terrain. Although this setting is not ideal for him, he is a very social horse and enjoys interacting with other horses, miniature goats, chickens, guinea fowl, and quiet dogs. He lives harmoniously alongside camels.
Health:
Sammy underwent dental work on November 4, 2024, during which he also received a veterinary check-up. He is in good health and has successfully recovered from a tendon strain injury sustained during his racing career.
Sammy has just had new shoes put on too.
Cons:
– Needs work with straight-loading floats
– Cannot live on rocky terrain
– Needs shoes at all times in work.
