Elite Street had a huge successful racing career as a sprinter earning $1.4 million!
He retired sound from racing with a nose bleed approx. 2 years ago ( which does not effect him and it’s never happened since)
He was spelled then bought into retraining program with Linda Brenzi for a few months and then purchased by me.
I rode him for a few months teaching him to jump and go very nicely on the flat, took him out to some training days and events. He was taking all this in his stride, he scored well in his first ever dressage test and jumped a clear round on his first ever show jumping round. He’s a nice mover, soft mouth, handsome broad shoulders!
He can be quirky but other than getting excited out and at events, he is generally well behaved under saddle and smart to teach.
He is currently bare foot and has pretty good feet for a TB. We have had his teeth done and some Chiro.
Unfortunately he cut his leg rolling into a wire fence so had 5 months off healing. He has a scar on the front of his hock, but recovered well and given the all clear to be ridden again by vets.
Unfortunately my circumstances have changed with uni work, I have barely had any time to work him since then, hence needing to find him a loving new home. Sunny is really well mannered under saddle and I have ridden him bareback and had a 12yr in him in the arena, but he does get excited out and grumpy around his feed especially.
I think he would be best suited to someone experienced wanting to have some fun with him at hack shows ( he comes up lovely when made up) or maybe ok for some very low level jumping again in time.
Due to my lack of time and him being currently in winter paddock condition I will consider any offer to a very good caring home.
