Tame Impala, affectionately known as Chevy retired from racing in 2017 after which he was spelled and then used for light farm hacking and cattle mustering. Chevy will require a rider and owner with experience in re-education off the track horses. Once his education as increased we believe he will be a good all-rounder.
Chevy is good to groom, he self-loads onto the trailer, stands well to be mounted and for the farrier. He is up to date with vaccinations, deworming, and has had regular barefoot trims. He is well exposed and good around dogs, pigs, goats, poultry and children. In his current home he has progressed in his ridden work including light cantering, small jumps, and attending a few horsemanship groundwork lessons.
Chevy has never displayed any vices under saddle or on the ground, but can find new environments over-stimulating and would require a calm and experienced handler in these situations.
